Lived experiences profoundly shape our approach to Support Coordination.
Our team comprises individuals who are neurodiverse, live with chronic health conditions and disabilities, or care for a loved one with a diagnosis, providing us with genuine insight.
We intimately understand the challenges of growing up with, living as an adult with, and supporting our children with neurodivergence, and we are dedicated to assisting our participants in flourishing.

Every one of us is unique and we are all members of and contribute to a neurodiverse community. For some people, their neurodivergence can mean that they are better at some things than many other people and for others additional support or adjustments are required.
Being 'neurodivergent' is not a medical term, but it is associated with a range of commonly known conditions such autism, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Tourette syndrome, developmental language disorder, speech delay, dysgraphia, hearing loss, developmental coordination disorder, dyscalculia, OCD, other learning differences, and mental health conditions such as anxiety.
At Emmy SC we understand the complexities of being neurodivergent and are knowledgeable in the local services that can best help you.
Our work aligns with Autism CRC’s National guidelines.
The guidelines set out recommendations for practitioners on how to deliver services that are safe, effective and desirable to autistic individuals and their families.
These were created to support the learning, participation and wellbeing of autistic children and their families in Australia and were developed according to the international standard and the recommendations approved by the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).
